Overview
The Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF) is aimed at all individuals within the work environment.
The qualification will ensure all employees are practising correct health and safety practices, taking into consideration their own health and safety and that of others, including customers, contractors, and members of the public.

Progression routes
- Learners wishing to progress from this qualification can undertake the following qualifications:
- Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF)
- Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)
- Level 1 Award in Health and Safety at Work (RQF)
Age range
Entry is at the discretion of the centre; however, learners should be 16 to undertake this qualification.
Qualification structure
Learners must achieve a total of 1 credit from the 1 mandatory unit.
